Reproduction of the bust of Dante Alighieri.
Product in white resin and marble powder, with wooden base, made in Tuscany and finished by hand.

Born in 1265 in Florence, at the time one of the free Italian republics, he was a writer, poet and politician. His Comedy, known as ‘Divine’ after Boccaccio’s commentary, consecrated him as the father of the Italian language, thanks to his great artistic and cultural relevance. This spiritual poem has always fuelled the collective imagination and the figurative arts. He undertook a political career despite being surrounded by adversaries, and while visiting Rome in 1302, he was sentenced to exile. Unable to return to his city, he died in Ravenna in 1321.
