T-SHIRT – PLLLPPPPLLLLPPLP

The t-shirt with a print of the tweet “Plllppppllpplp” from the official Twitter account of the Uffizi Galleries, which has become a viral phenomenon.

On the afternoon of Wednesday 17 November 2021, the Uffizi Galleries published a tweet stating “Plllpppplllpplp.” The mysterious tweet was retweeted and liked more than two hundred times in just a few hours, becoming a source of inspiration for numerous memes. The Uffizi seized the opportunity and responded to the comments by tweeting “Thank you for participating in the first Dadaist contest. The #Plllpplllpplp Community is hereby founded. See you next time!!! Rgrrfyyytffdsghh.” Finally, the museum revealed that, during an Uffizi Kids session, a child had got hold of the mobile phone of one of the educators and randomly typed the tweet that was to go viral.
