FRANCO IONDA. SMARRITI

24,00

Franco Ionda – born in Florence in 1946 – lives and works in Prato. From the stilt houses on the Adda, where Ionda lived in the 1970s, to the Uffizi Galleries, his journey has been long and full of inventions. His is a world of images that revolves around certain iconic forms: the decapitated star, the nail, the heads, the black silhouettes, through which Ionda interprets reality and gives voice to a sorrowful, lost and dispersed humanity. Like the migrants, refugees, mothers and soldiers whose images, taken from the media and reworked with special techniques and materials, constitute a crucial moment in his production.
